Great board, sub-optimal durability given nature of construction
I got this board for my girlfriend who was an absolute beginner, and it has been fantastic for her. It is a stable ride and has plenty of speed and float. She does not struggle whatsoever to stay in the wave. Given the nature of the wood construction of this board, i feel it is not the most durable and it is not a board fit to be stored in board racks, which is a bummer. I know my board racks would tear it up similar to other Ronix wood boards (like the Koal classic longboard). That being said, given how great the riding on it has been, i would be okay if this board had an expendable 3 year life span with heavy use. A product such as this not lasting more than 3-4 seasons would be unacceptable normally, but it has brought up my girlfriends confidence and skill immeasurably and she is having so much fun in the board riding with no rope with ease, that id buy another tomorrow if mine were to break. For reference the rider is 5’4’’ 118 lbs and rides the 4’5’’ board size.
