Description

Barefoot International Barefoot Short Sleeve Iron Suit (700)

The Barefoot International Short Sleeve Iron Suit is crafted with input from 6-time World Champion Mike Seipel, combining smooth glide, reliable protection, and long-lasting comfort for skiers who want performance they can trust. Designed specifically for deep starts and surface tricks, this version adds short sleeves that match the length of a standard T-shirt for a bit more coverage without compromising mobility.

Each Iron Suit incorporates thick flotation padding for that signature “icy smooth” glide and enhanced protection, all secured with double-glued construction for dependable durability. It’s a purpose-built piece of gear that supports both learning and high-level skiing.

Note: This suit is not a Coast Guard–approved flotation device.

  • 19mm foam flotation laminated on 1 side: Helps create effortless glide and adds impact protection.
  • Extra flotation in the groin area: Offers additional comfort and coverage where needed most.
  • 3mm piece of Black neoprene glued to the flotation: Delivers a smooth feel and reinforces overall durability.
  • Screen printed white logo: Clean, sharp branding for a classic Iron Suit look.
  • Double stitched seams: Reinforced seams built to withstand repeated sessions.
  • Manufactured in the USA: Ensures consistent quality and craftsmanship.

Important Return Information:
To qualify for a return, the suit must not be worn in water, must have all original tags attached, and must be in new, sellable condition. Once used in water, the warranty is void.

Tips, Tricks & Sizing Info

  • Break-in period: Plan for roughly 10 uses before the suit fully molds to your body—similar to breaking in new athletic gear.
  • Proper handling: Avoid pulling on soft neoprene areas. Use the reinforced shoulder and arm panels to put the suit on and take it off.
  • Tight competition fit: Skiers who intentionally size down may find it easiest to put the suit on while standing in waist- to chest-deep water.
