Description

Barefoot International Barefoot Junior Short Sleeve Iron Suit

The Barefoot International Junior Short Sleeve Iron Suit is built with input from 6-time World Champion Mike Seipel, giving young barefooters a suit that delivers smooth glide, dependable protection, and long-lasting comfort. Designed specifically for deep starts and surface tricks, the Iron Suit’s flotation padding and durable construction help riders feel confident as they develop their skills.

Thick flotation padding provides the signature “icy smooth” glide Iron Suits are known for, while additional protection in key areas supports young athletes during early progression. Double-glued and reinforced seams ensure the suit stands up to repeated sessions. This short sleeve version offers T-shirt–length sleeves for a bit of added coverage without restricting arm movement.

Note: This suit is not a Coast Guard–approved flotation device.

  • 19mm foam flotation laminated on 1 side: Creates a smooth-gliding surface and adds impact protection.
  • Extra flotation in the groin area: Enhances comfort and support where it matters most.
  • 3mm piece of Black neoprene glued to the flotation: Adds durability and a clean, comfortable finish.
  • Screen printed white logo: Classic Barefoot International branding.
  • Double stitched seams: Reinforced stitching improves longevity and toughness.
  • Manufactured in the USA: Built with consistent quality and craftsmanship.

Important Return Information:
To be eligible for return, the suit must not be worn in the water, must include all original tags, and must be in new, resellable condition. Water use voids the warranty.

Tips, Tricks & Sizing Info

  • Break-in period: Expect about 10 uses for the suit to fully conform to the rider’s body, similar to breaking in new footwear.
  • Proper handling: Avoid pulling on soft neoprene panels; instead use the reinforced shoulder and arm areas when putting the suit on or taking it off.
  • Competition-fit sizing: Skiers who intentionally size down may find it easiest to put the suit on while standing in waist- or chest-deep water.
