The Barefoot International Deluxe Single/Straight Contour Boom is engineered with direct input from top barefooters and waterskiers to deliver a truly rider-focused experience. Built from high-quality aircraft-grade materials, this boom provides exceptional safety, stability, and long-term reliability. A simplified clamp design increases durability, while the integrated quick-release pin makes setup and removal fast and straightforward.
Two braided steel cables connect to the bow for enhanced horizontal stability, keeping the boom steady even under load. This predictable, controlled feel makes it an invaluable tool for families, instructors, and ski schools. With the rider positioned just feet from the coach and the boat able to operate at lower speeds, learning becomes both safer and more approachable—whether the goal is skiing, barefooting, or wakeboarding.
- Fits direct drive boats with a center mounted, 2 ½" diameter pylon: Designed for secure, factory-pylon installation.
- Clamp is available in 3": Must be specified at ordering; otherwise a 2 ½" clamp is sent.
- MUST be a factory pylon: Booms should not be attached to aftermarket pylons for safety and compatibility.
- CAN be used with tapered pylons: The boom’s bend allows mounting below the taper for proper fit.
- Requires a clear path from the pylon to the side of the boat: No windows, towers, or obstructions perpendicular to the pylon on the intended boom side.
- Compatible with Height Adjuster (B107) and Boom Extension (B110): B107 offers quick height changes; B110 pushes the rider farther out to reduce chine spray.
- Regularly apply clear silicone grease to the quick release pins: Helps maintain smooth, reliable operation.
